Colour: Water white with golden and green hints
Aroma: Rich lime and tropical fruit with some musky, spicy notes
Palate: Mouth filling sweet lime cordial and lemon citrus balanced with clean acid finish
Summary: This Riesling goes well with most shellfish dishes, also delicious with spicy Asian influenced foods.
“Predominately from the Smallfry Vine Vale vineyard but a smidge of Eden Valley has been included so the wine gets a ‘Barossa’ and no ‘Valley’. Biodynamically farmed (certified). Holds 28 grams of residual sugar. Check out that 9.8% alcohol – set to medium dry (just sweet).
Smells of honeysuckle, rose water, green apple and ripe citrus. Gently sweet perfume. Holds some curves and slipperiness in texture, sloshes around the palate and finishes with a lick of sweetened lemonade feel. Pretty darn delicious to drink, not showing all that much structure, but really enjoyable anyway. 89 Points”
